Kim Kardashian’s plane is being followed by the teen who tracked Elon Musk’s plane before. As a tech-savvy 12-year-old, Jack Sweeney is eager to learn about the lives of the rich and famous. “My tracking talents have evolved to the level of billionaires’ megastars,” he boasted to the Sun.
More than a dozen Twitter bots have been created by Sweeney to track the private aircraft of tech billionaires including Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk. On Twitter, the account tracking the progress of Elon Musk’s Falcon 9 is the most popular.
19-year-old Sweeney said the Kardashians are “a fascinating family,” which was the motivation for tracking their $150 million plane. It’s possible that some celebrities don’t appreciate being followed, but I’m inclined to assume that they do. Kim Kardashian has been chastised for serving “tiny quantities” of food on her private jet.
Rather than being concerned by it like Elon, the youngster said, “it’s the reverse.”” Beyond being the brains behind Skims, Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Alex Rodriguez, Floyd Mayweather, and Tom Cruise’s private planes have all been under Sweeney’s watchful eye since his inception of the company.
There has been no pressure from Kim or her representatives on Sweeney to delete the monitoring information from his Twitter account. Sweeney had earlier turned down Musk’s $5,000 offer to deactivate his account in favour of an internship with Tesla, which Musk had previously offered to replace.
Sweeney told the publication that he has his eye on a number of A-list celebrities. “A number of them were well-known. It’s not everything that I have on my to-do list, he continued. “These are the ones that interest me the most and that have been requested. “By far, I believe [Mark] Zuckerberg has the most difficult [to track] jet, with little information on board,” continued the adolescent.

In order to personalise the jet, Kim commissioned Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez to design the interiors. To match her Calabasas home and her fleet of high-end vehicles, she had it painted a dark grey. Even the seats were custom-made for Kim, with cream-colored leather and cashmere.
But this isn’t something you’ll be paying for once. For every 200 hours of flying, Kim will need to spend $400k on gasoline and another $100k on maintenance.
